Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is an executive and administrative department of the State of Alabama created by statute. The Commissioner, appointed by the Governor as a member of his cabinet, advises the Governor and Legislature on management of freshwater fish, wildlife, marine resources, waterway safety, state lands, state parks, and other natural resources.
Georgia Department of Natural Resources
The Department of Natural Resources has statewide responsibilities for the management and conservation of Georgia’s natural and cultural resources. Most of this work is conducted by DNR’s six operating divisions which include: Coastal Resources Division; Environmental Protection Division; Historic Preservation Division; Law Enforcement Division; Parks, Recreation & Historic Sites Division and Wildlife Resources Division. The Board of Natural Resources, which is appointed by the Governor, oversees rulemaking for the agency.
Kentucky Department of Environmental Protection
The department's mission is to protect and enhance Kentucky's environment. This mission is important because it has a direct impact on Kentucky's public health, our citizens' safety and the quality of Kentucky's valuable natural resources - our environment.
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources
An agency of the Kentucky Tourism, Arts & Heritage Cabinet, the Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources conserves and enchances fish and wildlife resources and provides opportunity for hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, and other wildlife-related activites. Every year the agency enforces wildlife laws, manages public land and water, stocks fish, builds and maintains boat ramps, and informs and educates the public.
Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality
The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality is responsible for protecting the state’s air, land, and water. Our mission is to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of present and future generations of Mississippians by conserving and improving our environment and fostering wise economic growth through focused research and responsible regulation.
North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources
The organization, which has offices from the mountains to the coast, administers regulatory programs designed to protect air quality, water quality, and the public's health. DENR also offers technical assistance to businesses, farmers, local governments, and the public and encourages responsible behavior with respect to the environment through education programs provided at DENR facilities and through the state's school system. Through its natural resource divisions, DENR works to protect fish, wildlife and wilderness areas. The agency's activities range from helping to make sure drinking water is safe to managing state parks for safe and enjoyable outdoor recreation experiences.
North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission
The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is the state government agency that sustains the state’s fish and wildlife resources through research, scientific management, wise use, and public input. The Commission is the regulatory agency responsible for the enforcement of the state's fishing, hunting, trapping, and boating laws.
Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation exists to enhance the quality of life for citizens of Tennessee and to be stewards of our natural environment by: protecting and improving the quality of Tennessee’s air, land, and water through a responsible regulatory system; protecting and promoting human health and safety; conserving and promoting natural, cultural and historic resources; and providing a variety of quality outdoor recreational experiences.
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency
The mission of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is to preserve, protect, and enhance the fish and wildlife of the state and their habitats for the benefit, and enjoyment of the citizens of Tennessee and its visitors. The Agency will foster the safe use of the state’s waters through a program of law enforcement, education, and access. Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation

Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries
The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is responsible for the management of inland fisheries, wildlife, and recreational boating for the Commonwealth of Virginia. It seeks to manage Virginia's wildlife and inland fish to maintain optimum populations of all species to serve the needs of the Commonwealth.
Southeast Aquatic Resources Partnership
The Southeast Aquatic Resources Partnership (SARP) is a regional collaboration of natural resource and science agencies, conservation organizations and private interests developed to strengthen the management and conservation of aquatic resources in the southeastern United States.
