Dr. Mark Ford has been unit leader of the Virginia Cooperative Research Unit since August 2010. Prior to coming to USGS and Virginia Tech, he held R&D positions with the U.S. Army Engineer Research Development Center, the U.S. Forest Service Northern Research Station and Westvaco Forest Resources.
