Lindsay Rosa Ph.D.

I lead Defenders of Wildlife's science team - spatial (GIS) and aspatial - in the Center for Conservation Innovation. I oversee the integration of best available science in organization-wide programs, leading interdisciplinary teams of scientists, web developers and policy analysts to develop new tools and ideas for strategically using data to improve conservation policies and practices. I supervise a team that serves as a key resource to the organization: providing support, building networks, and advancing research. As the science point-person for the organization, I provide leadership, coordination, and support for internal staff and help to grow Defenders' external networks. My projects are based in field conservation and membership outreach.
