This session explores the application of ecological concepts in planning highway infrastructure projects by improving wildlife connectivity, hydrology, recreation access, and public safety. Speakers will highlight the Federal Highway Administration's Eco-Logical program and discuss highway infrastructure projects from two National Forests: the Wayne National Forest in Ohio; and the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington State.Photo credit: Washington State Department of Transportation.
