Highly anticipated down-scaled climate data to be released this winter
And how can climate scientists ensure that climate data is useful to a wide range of individuals with different data needs? In cooperation with the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes LCC, Dan Vimont, Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will release a newly developed set of downscaled climate data developed to address climate change challenges at a local level.
To learn more about this groundbreaking research, visit The Ohio State University’s Changing Climate webinar series, “Making Climate Change Data Relevant at a Local Level” presented by Dan Vimont. The data set will be housed and available to conservation and land managers through U.S. Geological Survey.
