LCC Boosts Relationships in the Ohio River Basin
Assistant Coordinator Ginny Kreitler was an invited speaker at the event and highlighted the array of new LCC decision support tools and science products that may be of particular use to the members of the Partnership. The LCC’s Stream Classification framework, Riparian Restoration Decision Support Tool, Ecosystem Services Conservation Atlas and forthcoming Ecological Flows of Water Withdrawals tool were reviewed, while the new on-line learning portal at ScienceApplications.org was debuted.
In addition, members of the Fish Habitat Partnership were invited to participate in the LCC’s Landscape Conservation Design process, resulting in new engagement of FWS Field Offices, state agencies and non-profit partners in the river basin.
